PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to layout stones and for leveling the field for the petitioner's property to the extent 0.85 cents of land comprised in old Survey No.490/2, New Survey No.490/2A1A as per patta No.1161 at Cheyyur B Block Village, Cheyyur Taluk within the Cheyyur Sub Registrar Office based on the complaint to the second respondent police dated 05.11.2023.

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to layout stones and for leveling the field for the petitioner's property to the extent of 0.85 cents of land comprised in old 2/4
Survey No.490/2, New Survey No.490/2A1A as per patta No.1161 at Cheyyur B Block Village, Cheyyur Taluk within the Cheyyur Sub Registrar Office based on the complaint to the second respondent police dated 05.11.2023.
2. Heard Mr.R.Balaguruswamy, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 2.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner, a petition enquiry was conducted in CSR No.827 of 2023 and closed on 06.11.2023 as "civil in nature".
4. In the light of the above submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, it is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the competent civil Court.
