Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land by fixing the boundary in Survey No.140/1, and sub division Survey No.140/1Q situated at Mattathari Village, Aarani Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and consequently directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2022 within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land by fixing the boundary in Survey No.140/1, and sub division Survey No.140/1Q situated at Mattathari Village, Aarani Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and consequently directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2022 within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

In order to survey the land and identify the four boundaries of the land of the petitioner situated at 140/1Q situated at Mattathari Village, Aarani Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, the petitioner had made an online application on 01.12.2022 and also paid the fees on 11.12.2022. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that the said application along with the fee would be considered and the needful would be undertaken by the 2nd respondent with the help of the 3rd respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Having regard to the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, and taking note of the innocuous nature of the prayer sought for, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order.

" That there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 01.12.2022 along with necessary fee and do the needful as claimed therein within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
