ORDER

It is stated by the learned Additional Advocate General that as against the order passed in the Writ Petition, a Writ Appeal in W.A.No.3801 of 2024 was filed and the same was dismissed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court on 10.01.2025 and therefore, the Department has filed a Special Leave Petition in S.L.P.(Civil) Diary No.36358 of 2025, in which the delay in preferring the Special Leave Petition was condoned by the Hon'ble Supreme Court on 15.07.2025 and an order of interim stay of the operation of the judgment passed in Writ Appeal on 10.01.2025 was granted.

2.When the Hon'ble Supreme Court has taken cognizance of the matter and the proceedings are pending, it would not be appropriate for this Court to parallely adjudicate the Contempt Petition. 2/4

3.Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedies subject to the final outcome of the Special Leave Petition.
