ORDER

On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the 3rd respondent police registered a case in Crime No.17 of 2018 on 12.01.2018 for the offence under Section 420 of IPC against Gnanavel and 3 others. While so, the petitioner has filed the present petition for police protection on the ground that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Gnanavel and others are threatening the petitioner and asking him to withdraw the complaint.

2.The complaint relates to collection of money under Self Help Group for Women, in which, 63 members had lost their monies. It is the allegation of the petitioner that some of women members are threatening by making him responsible for the non-payment of their dues by the accused/Gnanavel. 3.Today, Mr.V.M.Kumara Balan, Inspector of Police, Valathi Police Station, Villupuram District, is present before this Court. He is instructed to ensure that no harm befalls the petitioner either from the accused or from the other women members.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
