The present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking extension of the time granted to comply with the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.31659 of 2025 on 20.11.2025.

The submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner are as follows:- 2.1. The petitioner is one of the accused in Crime No.270 of 2022 registered on the file of the second respondent for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324 and 427 of IPC and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) & 3(2)(va) of the SC/ST (PoA) (Amendment) Act, 2015. 2.2. This Court, while allowing the petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.31659 of 2025 seeking to consider his bail application on the same day of his surrender, vide order dated 20.11.2025, directed the petitioner to surrender before the jurisdictional Court within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. 2.3. The order copy was made ready on 26.11.2025 and was received by the petitioner's counsel on 05.12.2025.

However, since the petitioner is a college student, he was unable to surrender before the Court concerned, which is neither willful nor wanton. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the condition.

Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered. The time for complying with the order dated 20.11.2025 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.31659 of 2025, is hereby extended by a further period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted to the petitioner 20.01.2026 ham To 1.
