This petition is filed to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.29506 of 2023 dated 12.10.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the documents placed on record.

3. When the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent produced a letter with ref.L3/Cont.P.No.288/2024/Law-I/TNSTC(CBE)/2024 dated 25.04.2024 wherein it is stated that the petitioner was paid a sum of Rs.58,249/- towards gratuity interest, vide Cheque No.822860 dated 25.04.2024 and 4% PF interest amount to the tune of Rs.52,605/- paid on 25.04.2024 vide Ch.No.822860. That apart 4% EL & SL interest for a sum of Rs.2,140/- was paid on 25.04.2024 through RTGS and 4% EL surrender interest to the tune of Rs.401/- was paid through RTGS on 25.04.2024. In view of the above, the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.29506 of 2023 is complied with and nothing survives for further adjudication. Hence the Contempt Petition is closed.
