The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to issue ration card by considering his application dated 17.11.2016 in accordance with law.

According to the petitioner, he applied for a new Ration Card before the 3rd respondent on 17.11.2016 along with necessary documents. Since no steps were taken on his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

application, the petitioner sent a representation on 27.01.2017 to the respondents seeking issuance of new Ration Card. Pending consideration of the same, the petitioner is before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.11.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
