Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd Respondent particularly to order and direct the Taluk Surveyor viz., the 3rd Respondent attached to his office to survey and demarcate the 3 acres of the Petitioner's land with boundaries in Survey No.219 Natham Land pursuant to the application of the petitioner dated 12.12.2020 after giving notice to all persons interested in the surrounding lands and furnish a copy of the report to the petitioner. ORDER

The petitioner has moved the first respondent Vide his representation dated 12.12.2020 for revenue sub-division of his property in Sy.No.218/8B of Venkarumpur Village, Murugakudi Post, Titakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District and consequently, to issue patta in his name.

2.Both the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader who appeared for the respondents informed the Court that an enquiry is underway right now and had commenced at 11.00 a.m. (19.01.2021).

3.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the first respondent/Tahsildhar is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
