As the petitioners representation dated 17.12.2024 for grant of Patta in S.No.9/5, 9/6, now T.S.No.1/2, 1/3, Ammapalayam Village, Salem West Taluk, Salem measuring 1255 acres, has not been considered by the second respondent, the petitioners are before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsels on either side.

Considering the limited request made by the petitioners, this Writ Petition is allowed and a Mandamus is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation dated 17.12.2024, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
