ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2025 and further direct the second respondent to remove the name of the petitioner from the rowdy list record in H.S.No.05 of 2023.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that two cases registered against the petitioner in Crime No.840 of 2019 and Crime No.607 of 2020 have already been quashed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.11279 of 2025 on 16.04.2025 and Crl.O.P.No.12699 of 2025 on 24.04.2025 and the case in S.C.No.586 of 2023 has ended in acquittal. Since there is no case pending against the petitioner, the name of the petitioner from the History Sheet Rowdy Book has to be removed as per the circulars of the DGP. In this regard, the petitioner had already given a representation. But the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and orders will be passed in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above submissions, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
