Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, Additional Public Prosecutor, assisted by Ms.T.Harshana for R1 Order The petitioner had submitted a representation dated 15.10.2025 to the Inspector of Police, Natrampalli Police Station, seeking police protection and appropriate action against one V.N.Subramani, S/o Nandhi Gounder, S.Vengadesh, S/o V.N. Subramani, Sanjay, and 10 others, alleging that they obstructed him, forcibly took away a JCB vehicle, and abused, assaulted, and criminally intimidated the petitioner and others.

2. The petitioner submits that he is the owner of the property in question and is an Advocate by profession. While he was clearing the property for the purpose of constructing an office for his professional use, the above incidents occurred. Though his complaint was received and assigned CSR No. 870 of 2025, no effective action has been taken so far. Hence, seeking protection for his life and property, and relying upon the Civil Court judgment in his favour, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent produced a letter from the Inspector of Police addressed to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thirupathur, stating that proceedings in C. No. 16 of 2025 have been initiated under Section 126 of BNSS on 25.09.2025 against Dineshkumar and Thiyagarajan as 'A' party and V.N. Subramani as 'B' party.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also filed a status report with regard the steps taken and the present stage of the enquiry being conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer.

5.In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to take notice to the second respondent, returnable by 21.04.2026. Private notice is also permitted.

6. Post the matter on 21.04.2026.
