By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to modify Seriatim 9 of the application from Group 2 to Group 1 and to consider the candidature under the Category Group 1 for selection to the Sendurai Town Location Petrol outlet.
3.Heard Mr.R.Gokulakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Vijay Meganathan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
4. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner had submitted an application in online process. The serial number 9 of the application relates to the classification of land offered by the applicants. The classifications are https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
grouped under heeds of Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3. The petitioner is eligible under Group 1, but the petitioner has opted for his candidature under Group 2. Hence, the petitioner requested to modify Seriatim of the application from Group 2 to Group 1 and to consider the candidature under the category Group 1 for selection to the Sendurai Town Location Petrol Outlet. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation in terms of the regulations and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
