This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case, on a complaint given by the petitioner dated 20.09.2011 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The petitioner is the Secretary of Arulmighu Sri Dhrowpathi Amman Temple, Nedungal, Kaveripattinam via Krishnagiri District. It is the case of the petitioner that he has given a complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Anti-Land Grabbing Cell, Krishnagiri on 21.09.2011, for recovery of temple property. But no action has been taken. Therefore, the petitioner has sent a representation to the Superintendent of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Police, Anti-Land Grabbing Cell, Krishnagiri, under Right to Information Act.

4. According to the petitioner, the complaint is pending as per the reply dated 02.05.2012 received under RTI Act, from the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Land Grabbing Cell, Krishnagiri.

5. In respect of the transaction that is said to have taken place in the year 1980, no positive direction can be given to the respondent police to register an FIR., Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
