..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation sent by the petitioner dated on 26.08.2021 and consequently direct the respondents to issue patta for the petitioner land measuring about 311 sq.ft. comprised in Old Survey No.119/C15 and New Survey No.686/24. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to

consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2021.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 26.08.2021 to issue patta for the his land measuring about 311 sq.ft. comprised in Old Survey No.119/C15 and New Survey No.686/24. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent, as on date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2021 will be disposed of by the second respondent within a period of 8 weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the entire materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2021 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
