Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal) in the event of West Thirumalaipalayam Arulmigu Sree Uchi Kaliamman Temple Festival at Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District on 09.01.2019 between 06.00 P.M. to 11.00 P.M. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.12.2018.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent permitting them to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal) in the event of West Thirumalaipalayam Arulmigu Sree Uchi Kaliamman Temple festival on 09.01.2019.

2. The case of the petitioner is that they have submitted an application before the respondent on 31.12.2018 to permit them to conduct the cultural programme in the event of West Thirumalaipalayam Arulmigu Sree Uchi Kaliamman Temple Festival on 09.01.2019, but, so far, the petitioners' application was not considered by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Considering the fact that the festival is scheduled to be held on 09.01.2019 and the petitioners' application is pending with the respondent from 31.12.2018, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass suitable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 08.01.2019. With the said direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
