Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal) in the event of Kariyampatti Village Arulmigu Sree Angalamman Temple Festival at Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District on 17.01.2019 between 06.00 P.M. to 11.00 P.M. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.12.2018.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent permitting them to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal) in the event of Kariyampatti Village Arulmigu Sree Angalamman Temple festival on 17.01.2019.

2. The case of the petitioner is that they have submitted an application before the respondent on 28.12.2018 to permit them to conduct the cultural programme in the event of Kariyampatti Village Arulmigu Sree Angalamman Temple festival on 17.01.2019, but, so far, the petitioners' application was not considered by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Considering the fact that the festival is scheduled to be held on 17.01.2019 and the petitioners' application is pending with the respondent from 28.12.2018, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

08.01.2019. With the said direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
