Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant an urgent order of interim direction to respondents 2 to 4, not to grant permission to the 1st respondent to go on strike or conduct any programmes connected therewith on 8th and 9th January, 2019, within the Airport premises or in the appurtenant vicinity, by enforcing law and order and ensuring safety of passengers and the security in the Chennai Airports, (WMP.270/2019) pending disposal of the above WP.252/2019 Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of DR.FR.XAVIER ARUL RAJ, SENIOR COUNSEL FOR M/S.A.ARUL MARY, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.R.

KAMATCHI SUNDARESAN, Advocate for the 1st Respondent the court made the following order:- The above WMP is filed seeking interim direction to respondents 2 to 4 not to grant permission to the 1st respondent to go on strike or conduct any programmes connected therewith on 8th and 9th January, 2019, within the Airport premises.

2. Heard the learned Senior counsel appearing for the Petitioner/Airports Authority of India-Chennai Airports.

3. Today when the matter is called, the first respondent has filed counter affidavit. In paragraph 4 of the counter affidavit, it is stated as under:- "4. It is submitted that the 1st respondent Union nor its members will not demonstrate or shout slogans or hold placards in the premises of the Petitioner or anywhere in the Meenambakkam on 8th and 9th of January 2019. They will also not disturb the employees intending to work on 8th and 9th of January 2019. They will also not cause any obstacle to the free movement of men and vehicles. They will not cause any disruption to the ingress and egress to the premises of the Petitioner. "
