Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct dance programme at Poovandivalasu Village Sri Makali Amman Koil Thiruvizha on 09.01.2019 and subsequently, the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2018 at Poovandivalasu Village, Avalpoondurai Post, Erode District.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent permitting them to conduct the dance programme at Poovandivalasu Village Sri Makali Amman Kovil Thiruvizha on 09.01.2019.

2. The case of the petitioner is that they have submitted an application before the respondent on 30.12.2018 to permit them to conduct the dance programme at Poovandivalasu Village Sri Makali Amman Kovil Thiruvizha on 09.01.2019, but, so far, the petitioners' application was not considered by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Considering the fact that the festival is scheduled to be held on 09.01.2019 and the petitioners' application is pending with the respondent from 30.12.2018, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

08.01.2019. With the said direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
