O R D E R

The writ of mandamus has been filed to direct the the 1st and 3rd respondents to give electricity connection in the petitioner's house, situated in S.No.229/1A situated at Mullipakkam village, Mullipakkam Pudhu Colony, Manampathy (Via) Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpet District by considering the representation dated 3.8.2022.

Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the application for electricity service connection has to be submitted through on-line mode along with relevant documents by the applicant for the purpose getting electricity service connection at any premises and the petitioner has not submitted the same.

3. The petitioner admittedly has not submitted application through on-line mode, which is the procedure being followed. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application through on-line mode along with relevant documents, enabling the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for providing electricity service connection.

4. With this liberty the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
