Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to send the revised pension proposal to the fourth respondent for family pension, commuted value of pension and DCRG pending due to the petitioner's husband and to direct the fourth respondent to authorise the same as per Government Letter No.22825 /FR-2/2016-2 dated 02.02.2017 by considering her representation dated 09.08.2018 within a time frame. The petitioner's husband, who was working as Social Forestry Worker in Thiruthani Range, died on 13.06.2018 due to heart ailment. In this connection, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the third respondent to send the revised pension proposal of her husband to the fourth respondent for sanctioning the benefits viz. Commuted Value of Pension, Family https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Pension and DCRG to her, as per the clarification issued by the first respondent. Since the representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.This Court also heard Mrs.M.Lalitha, learned Government Advocate, who took notice on behalf of the respondents. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it fit to direct the third respondent to consider the representation dated 09.08.2018 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
