Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.10.2021 and to direct the respondents to give access to the petitioner's land situated at Thatchur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District comprised in S.No.162/1, measuring an extent of 1 Acre 32 Cents.
2. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents, notice to them is not necessary and this Writ Petition is disposed of, based on the available materials.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the property measuring an extent of 1 Acre 32 cents comprised in Survey No.162/1. The only way to reach the petitioner's land is by way of Police Housing quarters, constructed by the Police Housing Corporation, which was prevented by putting up a compound wall by the 4th respondent. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 08.10.2021 before the respondents. However, till date, 2/4
there is no response from the respondents. Hence, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.
4.Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2021 and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court. 5.The learned Government Advocate has no objection for said order being passed.
6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
