The Civil Miscellaneous Appeals are filed against the judgment and decree passed by the Principal Family Court, Chennai in FCOP No.323 of 2009 (CMA No.1019 of 2013) and FCOP No.3902 of 2010 (CMA No.1020 of 2013) dated 23.12.2012. 2.
During the pendency of the appeal, the parties have arrived at amicable settlement and a Common Joint Memorandum of Compromise was filed. In view of the compromise entered into between the parties, we are of the opinion that the civil miscellaneous appeals can be disposed of by recording the joint memo of compromise. Accordingly, the civil miscellaneous appeals are disposed of by recording the joint memo of compromise. The joint memo of compromise shall form part of the decree. The learned Additional District Judge, Chengalpet is directed to entertain the application for compounding in Crl.Appeal No.23 of 2014 and compound the offence in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties. No costs. Consequently, connected MPs are closed.
