MAHADEVAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.1532 of 2020 IN CRL.RC.NO.1287 OF 2019 B.SAMPATH [ PETITIONER ] Vs G.MURUGAN [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to extend the time to deposit the amount and to execute the sureties as required by the order of this Honble Court dated 26.11.2019 made in Crl.M.P.No.17398/2019 in Crl.RC No.1287/2019 by appreciating the above said facts.

[CRL.MP.NO.1532/2020] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.PANNEER SELVAM Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.PAUL GNANAMUTHU Advocate on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to deposit the amount and to execute the sureties as required by the order passed by this Court on 26.11.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.17398 of 2019. When this petition was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that due to financial constraints, the petitioner was not able to comply with the order passed by this Court dated 26.11.2019, but on the other hand, he submitted that the petitioner voluntarily settled a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- to the respondent and by this bona fide attempt, the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court to extend the time for complying the order dated 26.11.2019 in respect of depositing the amount.

2.Considering the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the time is extended till 27.02.2020. Post the matter on 28.02.2020.
