This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed for directing the 1st respondent to furnish the copy of the enquiry report of the Additional Superintendent of Police, Kallakurichi District, which was concluded based on the directions of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.26983 of 2022 and forwarded to the 1st respondent vide file C.No.C1/3726864/886/IGP-NZ/2022 dated 28.12.2022.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that earlier a Criminal Original Petition was filed in Crl.O.P.No.26983 of 2022, seeking permission to register a case based on the complaint dated 18.02.2022. This Court, on 07.11.2022, recorded on the basis of the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), that "Since the enquiry in this matter is pending, it is appropriate to direct the respondent police to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.2 of 2022 and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. Petitioner now seeks the copy of the enquiry report in pursuance of C.S.R.No.2 of 2022.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that enquiry was conducted and closed as 'Civil in Nature'. If the petitioner gives a representation seeking copy of the enquiry report, appropriate order would be passed.
5. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court directs the petitioner to give representation to the 1st respondent seeking copy of the enquiry report. On such giving of representation, the respondent police is directed to pass appropriate orders, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered, with the aforesaid direction.
