ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for alleged offences punishable under Sections 329(2), 296(b) and 351(3) of BNS, in Crime No.612 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that, due to previous enmity, the petitioner herein damaged the de facto complainant's car window, worth about Rs.10,000/- and also broke the window of the de facto complainant's house. Hence

the case has been registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case. It is also submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that there are ten previous cases pending against the petitioner and that the investigation in this case is also pending. Hence, she vehemently opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the submissions made on both sides, nature of offence, the previous antecedents of the petitioner, taking note of the fact that the investigation of this case is pending and if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, the petitioner would indulge in similar offence, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
