4. It is not disputed that the petitioner has satisfactorily commissioned the Solar Power Plant at Dindigul District which has been generating electricity and the same is being supplied to TNPDCL. The liability of the first respondent to refund the refundable security deposit of Rs.1,00,00,000/- to the petitioner, as agreed by them, is also not in dispute. Despite several representations made by the petitioner to refund the refundable security deposit, the respondents have not responded to it. Hence, the present writ petition.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to refund the eligible amount payable to the petitioner along with the interest as provided in the contract if there is no legal impediment, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 08-01-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order DS __________Page 3 of 5
