O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders and pay the terminal benefits to the petitioner.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he joined in the office of the Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Society as Typist in the year 1990. The petitioner attained superannuation on 31.05.2019 and he was permitted to retire.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that his retirement benefits has not been settled till date. The petitioner had made representation to the respondents to settle his retirement benefits and in spite of the same, no orders have been passed till date. Therefore, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.
4. Heard Mr.G.Thangavel, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.R.Bala Ramesh, Special Government Pleader (Co-Op.) appearing on behalf of the respondents.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the third and fourth respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 17.05.2019 and pass appropriate orders, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and settle the entire terminal benefits of the petitioner. The petitioner is directed make a fresh representation to the third and fourth respondents along with all the necessary materials and a copy of this order.
6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
