On the complaint lodged by the second respondent, the first respondent registered a case in Crime No.460 of 2003 on 26.06.2003 under sections 406 and 420 IPC, for quashing which, the accused is before this Court.
2. Heard Mr.M.Anandaraj, learned counsel of the accused who submitted that the matter was compromised between the parties as early as in the year 2005 as could be seen from the affidavits filed by the defacto complainant and other victims before the XI Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai.
3. Today Mr.Samson Colvert, Sub Inspector of Police, C.C.B is present before this Court.
4. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since the matter was settled, the FIR in Crime https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
No. 460 of 2003 has been closed in the year 2006 itself. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that F.I.R is still kept pending on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate for CCB/CBCID Cases, Egmore, Chennai.
4. In view of the representation made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the FIR in Crime No.460 of 2003 is hereby quashed.
