Prayer in WP.No.4467 of 2026: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to forthwith consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2025 submitted to regularize his services in the cadre of Health Inspector with effect from 00.01.1973 i.e. from the date of his passing of the Sanitary Inspectors Course and give notional promotion as Health Inspector with all monetary benefits by extending the benefits of G.O.(D) No.359 Health and Family Welfare Department, dated 26.04.2004 which is covered under the Judgment of the Honble High Court dated 13.07.2007 in WP. NO.29794 of 2005.

Prayer in WP.No.4471 of 2026: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to forthwith consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2025 submitted to regularize his services of the husband of the Petitioner in the cadre of Health Inspector with effect from Jan. 1974 i.e. from the date of his passing of the Sanitary Inspectors Course and give notional promotion as Health Inspector with all monetary benefits by extending the benefits of G.O.(D) No.359 Health and Family Welfare

Department, dated 26.04.2004 which is covered under the Judgment of the Honble High Court dated 13.07.2007 in WP. NO.29794 of 2005. For Petitioners :

M/s.A.Bharathi in all petitions For Respondent : Mr.K.Tippu Sulthan Government Advocate in all petitions C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions have been seeking issuance of mandamus, directing the respondents to forthwith consider and pass orders on the representations of the petitioners submitted to regularize the services in the cadre of Health Inspectors from the date of his passing of the Sanitary Inspectors Course and give notional promotion as Health Inspector with all monetary benefits by extending the benefits of G.O.(D) No.359 Health and Family Welfare Department, dated 26.04.2004 which is covered under the Judgment of the Honble High Court dated 13.07.2007 in WP. No.29794 of 2005.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, these Writ Petitions are taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were appointed as Multipurpose Health Assistant in the year 1960, 1963 &1969 respectively and thereafter, completed sanitary certificate course in the year 1981, 1974 & 1973. While so, one Mr.Dhanasekaran, who is similarly placed person like the petitioners obtained an order in W.P.No.29794 of 20205 to give notional promotion to the post of Health Inspector with all service and consequential benefits with effect from his passing of Sanitary Inspector's Certificate course. Subsequently, vide G.O(D)No.359, Health and Family Welfare Department, the said Dhanasekaran was given notional promotion. Thereafter, the petitioners made a representations seeking the same relief for granting notional promotion and other benefits for the post of Health Inspector. Since no order was passed, the present writ petitions are filed.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 27.09.2025 & 0.11.2025 and pass

appropriate orders within a stipulated time.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the 2nd respondent will consider the representation of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders on the same within a specified time.

6. In view of the above, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 27.09.2025 & 05.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. These Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above terms. No costs.
