Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order dated 05.04.2012 passed by the second respondent herein on the basis of the enquiry report dated 26.07.2011 submitted by the fourth respondent herein and to quash the same and direct the respondents 1 to 3 to reinstate the petitioner as the Head/Dean, Department of Visual Communication along with the post of Consultant and Public Relationship Officer in the Institution of the respondents 1 to 3 with all the service and monetary benefits including the arrears of pay and future pay at the rate as prescribed under the University Grants Commission within the time frame as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

Earlier this matter was listed on 07.12.2023. As there was no representation for the petitioner, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, when the matter is listed under the

caption "For Dismissal", there is no representation for the petitioner either in the pre-lunch or post-lunch session. From the perusal of the docket proceedings, it is noticed that on a number of occasions, there were no representation for the petitioner. In the circumstances, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss this petition for non-prosecution.

2. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
