ORDER
(Made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner is not represented. It is evident that the petitioner has lost interest in the matter since the petitioner was not represented on February 8, 2021 when the matter was last taken up.
2. The prayer in the petition is to make it mandatory for all Government Offices to have photographs of the persons indicated in G.O. (Standing) No.457, Public (General-1) Department, dated June 4, 2006.

3. Learned Advocate-General representing the State says that the relevant notification gives an option to the Government offices to carry one or more of the photographs of the several national leaders indicated therein, but there is no mandatory force in the notification and it may not be in public interest to make it mandatory, particularly since the memorandum refers to past Chief Ministers and the like.
4. Since the relevant Government notification does not make it mandatory for all Government buildings to carry the photographs of the persons indicated therein, it will be for the individual Government offices to deal with the matter in accordance with law.
5. Since this is a public interest litigation and the petitioner in such a case is treated as an informant, W.P.No.875 of 2021 is disposed of without requiring any action to be taken on the basis of the petition. Consequently, W.M.P.No.958 of 2021 is closed. There will be no order as to costs.
