(2) A Report had been enclosed dated 12.09.2016 from the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, wherein it had been stated that both the petitioner herein and the respondent herein have settled the issues by making a payment of a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- [Rupees Three Lakhs and Fifty Thousand only] in favour of the respondent herein/Ramesh Traders, details of which, are set out in the said Report. (3) The said Report has been signed by the petitioner and the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as by the respondent and the learned counsel for the respondent. (4) In view of that particular fact, the present Criminal Original Petition, which has been filed to quash the further progress of STC.No.5569/2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palladam, would not survive. (5) Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions stand closed.
