The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 341, 506(ii) and 307 of I.P.C in Crime No.167 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate stated as against the first and second petitioners charge sheet has been filed wherein they have shown as absconding accused. He further stated that the third petitioner is not arrayed as an accused in this case.

3. In view of the above, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the first and second petitioners herein as anticipatory bail application will not lie against them. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed against first and second petitioners. The petitioners may examine the Rules 22 and 24 of Criminal Rules of practice. So far as, the

third petitioner is concerned he has not arrayed as an accused in this case, hence, this petition stands dismissed with regard to third petitioner.
