JUDGMENT

Learned counsel for the first respondent-claimant submits that the appeal filed by the second respondent, namely, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, the requisition department, in A.S.No.850 of 2008 was dismissed by a judgment and decree of this Court, dated 02.02.2011.

2. The appeal in A.S.No.850 of 2008 was against the very same award of land acquisition Tribunal in LAOP No.34 of 2001. The present appeal is also against the award in LAOP No.34 of 2001, challenging the quantum.

3. In the said circumstances, this Court is of the view that this appeal does not survive, as the matter has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

finally adjudicated in the connected appeal in A.S.No.850 of 2008. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed. No costs.

4. It is made clear that this judgment is passed, based on the representation of the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent/claimant.
