Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent dated 02.01.2017 in Cr.M.P.No.1/Black Marketeer/2017 C1 against the petitioner's husband, Ahamed Ali @ Bhavani Bai, S/o.Late Naina Mohamed, aged about 45 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Coimbatore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in Cr.M.P.No.1/Black Marketeer/2017 C1 dated 02.01.2017 by the Detaining Authority against the detenue by name, Ahamed Ali @ Bhavani Bai, aged 45 years, S/o.Late Naina Mohamed and quash the same.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the Detention Order in question has already been revoked by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.38 dated 27.02.2017 and to that effect, a copy of the same has been submitted, wherein, it is clearly stated that the Detention Order in question has been revoked.
3. Considering the above said factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
