Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 5th respondent to conduct Viva Voce for the Thesis on the topic of 'A study of Mathematical concepts in Sanskrit for Computing' submitted on 05.03.2021 in respect of registration No. RMI6SA029 and consequently directing the 6th respondent to award Ph.D to the petitioner with in a stipulated period.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the fifth respondent to conduct the Viva Voce for the Thesis titled 'A study of Mathematical concepts in Sanskrit for Computing' submitted on 05.03.2021 in respect of Registration No. RMI6SA029, and consequently, to direct the sixth respondent to award Ph.D to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, this Court directs the fifth respondent to consider the request of the petitioner, based on the Thesis submitted by him on 05.03.2021, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
