This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to receive and register the Power of Attorney dated 28.11.2024. 1/5
2.Heard Mr.P.Pugalenthi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr.B.Vijay, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondent.
3.The grievance of the petitioners is that he wanted to issue a Power of Attorney in favour of the agent and accordingly, the Power of Attorney Deed dated 28.11.2024 was presented for registration. The same was refused to be registered by the respondent.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioners have to make an on-line application and a token will be generated by fixing the time for registration and that point of time, the physical document has to be presented for registration. In the instant case, since the petitioners did not come to the Registration Office and present the document for registration, it was not registered.

Pleader was denied by the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners had infact gone to the Registration Office and submitted the document for registration. 6.This Court does not want go into the above controversy and it will suffice to direct the petitioners to submit the application through on-line and generate the token. At the time slot that is allotted to the petitioner, the physical document shall be presented for the registration and the same shall be registered by the respondent, if it is otherwise in order.
7.In the result, this writ petition stands allowed with the above directions. No Costs.
