2. It is the case of the petitioners that challenging the award passed by the Joint Registrar of Chits, Central Chennai dated 06.06.2018 made in ARC.Nos.424 of 2015 and 443 of 2015, the petitioners preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent and the same has been pending without any progress for the past 6 1⁄2 months. Therefore, the petitioners have come before this Court seeking necessary direction for disposal of the appeals. 2/4
3. M/s.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the 1st respondent, submitted that the appeals filed by the petitioners will be disposed within a time fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 28.05.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner and other rival parties.
