Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India petitioner prayed that this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to furnish the public documents as demanded in the petitioner's application dated 20.03.2015.

O R D E R

The relief sought in this writ petition is for direction to direct the respondents to furnish the public documents as demanded in the petitioner's application dated 20.03.2015.

2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the public documents sough for by him to know the particulars have not been furnished by the respondents. Thus, he has constrained to move the present writ petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents disputed the contention by stating that the Employment Office follows the order of seniority and eligible candidates were sponsored as per the seniority maintained by the live register of this Office. The facts were clearly stated to the writ petitioner by way of reply letters dated 13.10.2014, 06.01.2015, 26.03.2015 and 08.05.2015 respectively. Thus the information sought for had already been provided to the writ petitioner.

This Court is of an opinion that even if the petitioner has not satisfied with the information given by the respondents, it is left open to the petitioner to file an appropriate application seeking information under the provisions of Right to Information Act, enabling the Public Information Officer to provide all such information sought for.

5. Thus, the grievances of the writ petitioner has to be redressed in the manner known to law by filing appropriate application under the provisions of Right to Information Act.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
