The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 465, 468 and 471 of IPC registered in Crime No.266 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police for the occurrence took place on 16.11.2023, seek anticipatory bail.

It is the case of the prosecution that a US Consulate General official has lodged a complaint with the respondent police stating that forged documents had been produced for the purpose of obtaining Visa to go over to USA. The documents are a degree certificate said to have been issued by the Andhra University, Visagapattinam and employment documents of Blueverse Technologies at Hyderabad. Thereafter, investigation was conducted by the respondent and it is also stated that these two petitioners were running a consultancy at Hyderabad and indulged themselves in preparing forged documents. A1 approached the U.S. Consulate seeking Visa on the strength of the forged documents.

3. A counter affidavit has also been filed stating that there is also one similar case as against these petitioners at Hyderabad.

4. Taking into consideration all the facts and circumstances, since the investigation is nascent stage with respect to identification of places where the certificates were forged and also as to who are all other accused involved in this case and who would have used forged certificates for obtaining Visa, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
