ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents to give police protection to safeguard the right to life liberty and property of the petitioner and his family members residing at No.5B A, Kathiravan Salai, Neelankarai, Chennai, pursuant to representation dated 19/11/2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It appears that the petitioner has purchased the property under the SARFAESI proceedings and that he is the absolute owner of the property and to that effect, the Tahsildar, Sholinganallur has also written a letter addressed to the District Collector, Kancheepuram. Now, the petitioner seeks police protection, since miscreants are threatening his possession.

4. The petitioner is directed to go in person and give a complaint to the Neelankarai Police Station enclosing a copy of the said letter given by the Tahsildar and on such a complaint being given by the petitioner, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
