Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2020 to retrieve, restore the S.No.230/9 measuring 16 acres or 39.52 cents in Computer (Digitized Revenue Records) patta No.1216 of Kosapadi Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District in the name petitioner name as per the Village "A" register within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks computerised patta for her property and has approached the Sub Collector, Kallakurichi District, who Vide his proceedings dated sometime in 2019 has communicated that a certain dispute regarding issuance of patta is pending before the District Collector, Kallakurichi. In this circumstances, the petitioner has approached this Court seeks a direction to the first respondent to make necessary entries in the computerised patta.

instructions that the first respondent has fixed the enquiry at 5.00 p.m., on 27.01.2021 at his office. The said statement is recorded.

Inasmuch the enquiry is scheduled to take place on 27.01.2021, no further direction is required to be given except that the first respondent/District Collector is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose the matter through a speaking order within a period of four (4) weeks from 27.01.2021.
