ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to produce the petitioner's daughter P.Krishnaveni, D/o.Late Padmarajan, aged about 19 years, who is illegally detained by 3rd respondent, before this Court and set her at liberty. 2.
It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter P.Krishnaveni, aged about 19 years, is working as Sales Girl in Sabari Textiles, went missing from 01.12.2022 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her.

Today, Mr.R.Vijayakumar (Mobile No.82489 73485), Inspector of Police, Virudhachalam Police Station, Cuddalore District, is present, before this Court.

On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Virudhachalam Police Station Crime No.1006 of 2022 has been registered on 03.12.2022 for 'woman missing' and during the course of investigation, it came to light that Krishnaveni was in love with Adhikesavan, third respondent herein and has eloped with him.

Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Virudhachalam Sub-Division, Cuddalore District, to supervise the investigation in Virudhachalam Police Station Crime No. 1006 2022 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenue Krishnaveni, aged about 19 years, is secured, she shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Virudhachalam, Cuddalore District, under intimation to the petitioner.
