Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to register, release and handover the Assignment Agreement dated 01.09.2023 presented for registration on 08.01.2024 executed between the petitioner and M/s.Karur Vysya Bank Limited bearing No.P/ Redhills/03/2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to register and release the Assignment Agreement dated 01.09.2023 executed between the petitioner and Karur Vysya Bank.

2. Heard Mr.V.Jeevan Ram, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.Abishekmurthy, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. Learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that there was some technical glitch and the Assignment Agreement will be released within a short time. 2/4

4. Taking into consideration the above submission made by learned Government Advocate, there shall be a direction to the respondents to register and release the Assignment Agreement dated 01.09.2023 within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
