PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, pleased to direct the learned Special Court under TNPID Act, Coimbatore to dispose the case in C.C.No.23 of 2021. as early as possible within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conferencing) This petition has been filed to seeking for a direction, to direct the learned Special Court under TNPID Act, Coimbatore to dispose the case in C.C.No.23 of 2021. as early as possible within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that, the petitioner / defacto complainant had lodged a complaint and a case in Crime No.2 of 2019 registered on 24.04.2019.
Thereafter, investigation completed and charge sheet was made ready on 29.01.2021 and filed before the trial Court on 05.07.2021 and the case has been taken on file only on 26.10.2021 and summons issued on 09.11.2021. The petitioner submitted at this stage, the case proceedings would take much more time for the trial Court to conclude the same. Hence this direction petition. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner, charge sheet made ready on 29.01.2021, filed on 05.07.2021, taken on file only on 26.10.2021 and summons issued on 09.11.2021. The case is now posted for appearance of the accused and framing of charges on 04.02.2022. He submitted that the physical functioning of the Courts are now closed and only video conferencing conducted. 4.
In view of the same, as soon as the Court commences its normal functioning, the respondent police to take earnest efforts to produce witnesses and cooperate with the trial Court to complete the trial at the earliest to dispose of the case.
