Prayer in Crl.O.P.No.512/2019: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner and her 2 children and her property, pass appropriate directions.
Prayer in Crl.O.P.No.518/2019: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying to direct the respondents to register the complaint dated 21.05.2018 as FIR investigate the same. For Petitioner in both Crl.O.Ps :M/s.S.Swamidoss Manokaran For Respondent in both Crl.O.Ps :Mr.M.Mohamed riyaz Additional Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed for a direction to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner and her 2 children and her property and to register a complainant dated 21.05.2018.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police issued a C.S.R.No.110 of 2018. Since the parties did not appear for enquiry, the complaint was closed on 23.05.2018.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the husband of the petitioner barged into the property and took away the pass port and other important title documents of the property. The learned counsel also submitted that there is a potential threat to the life and limb of the petitioner. 4.In view of the fact that the complaint has already been closed during may 2018, no further orders can be passed in this petitions. However, it is open to the petitioner to give a fresh complaint to the respondent police and the respondent police shall act upon the same and take action in accordance with law.
5.Accordingly these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
