ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to register the case on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 04.12.2021.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is an Assistant Professor in Vinayaka Mission's Kirupanada Variyar Engineering College, Salem. On 04.12.2021, when the petitioner

entered the college and trying to put signature in the attendance register, the receptionist of the college one Venkatesh @ P. Venkateswaran restrained the petitioner from signing the attendance register. Thereafter, the petitioner gone to his department room, at that time, the Principal of the College R.Sasikumar along with one C.Kathirvel, Venkatesh @ P.Venkateswaran, S.Venkatesan and Security man along with seven persons forced the petitioner to get out from the college, which the petitioner has taken a photo in his mobile. The petitioner lodged a complaint, for which, CSR No.419 of 2021 assigned and no action has been taken despite cognizable offence has been made out and injury certificate also produced. 3.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner who is an Assistant Professor in Vinayaka Mission's Kirupanada Variyar Engineering College, Salem was assigned invigilation duty for a technical examination. On that day, he failed to attend the invigilator work and hence, forty students of the college could not attend the examination, for which, disciplinary action has been taken. In view of the disciplinary action, the petitioner was not allowed to enter the college, which was questioned and a complaint was lodged by the petitioner, for which, CSR No.419 of 2021 assigned on 04.12.2021.

4.This Court finding that there are complaint and counter complaint in this case, the respondent police to conclude the enquiry in both the cases within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
