(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 3 & 4 of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.not known of 2021, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that petition enquiry is pending against the petitioners in C.S.R. No.177 of 2020 and now transferred to C.C.B., Job Racketing, Chennai.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, the respondent Police is directed to complete the enquiry, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any prima facie case is made out against https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioners, the respondent police shall register the First Information Report or close the petition enquiry. Till then, the respondent police is directed not to arrest the petitioners.
