ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.08.2020 and issue patta in favour of the petitioner and other legal heirs within a time limit fixed by this Court.

2.Heard both sides.

3.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents made a statement on instructions that an enquiry is fixed at 11.00 a.m., on 05.03.2021 at the Office of the Tahsildar/4th respondent herein.

4. The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded. 2/4

5.Since the enquiry is already fixed, no further direction is required to be made except that the 4th respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing, to dispose of the representation dated 20.08.2020 made by the petitioner, through a speaking order within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of service of order copy, subject to such time that may be lost in responsibilities connected with the ensuing General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021.
