Ms.S.Ramya Revathy, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the first respondent to consider his representation dated 22.01.2018, wherein and whereby, he sought for correcting the UDR records in respect of the subject matter land, by contending that the mistake has crept in while classifying the petitioner's land, which according to the petitioner is an ancestral land.
4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the first respondent to consider the representation dated 22.01.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
